The Strategy
​
Everyone today wants to do good. Whether by their own actions, or by supporting a brand that helps a particular cause people want to help others. However, they're aren't enough people donating blood, either for lack of time or fear of donating.
​
For apprehensive donors who need to overcome fears of donating blood, the American Red Cross provides them with the easiest way to donate life saving blood and platelets.

My Role

Researched and discovered the reasons why people, Millennials in particular, don't donate blood.

Found and told a real story to compel future donors to see why their donations matter.

Drafted and revised our consumer, brand, and campaign strategy to form a simple and clear message.

Created a killer deck and pitch to win over the creative teams in the BYU Adlab's Pitch Tank competition.

Guided the creative team in their brainstorming meetings and provided feedback to make sure executions fit the strategy.

Made way to many blood puns. Needles to say, they were clever.
